He wanted a better view of hot-dog history â" but ended up with a summons.
A 40-year-old man was busted Saturday for flying a drone over the Nathanâs Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest on the Coney Island boardwalk, police sources said.
The tubed-meat enthusiast was caught flying his drone over the gustatory proceedings just after noon â" shortly before upstart Matt Stonie shocked the competitive eating world by dethroning eight-time champion Joey Chestnut, swallowing 62 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.
Cops seized the drone and handed its owner a summons for violating city aviation laws, sources said.
