"We've done stuff in Man of Steel to launch this conflict," director Zack Snyder explained during the discussion at the fan-centric convention. "We put Gotham and Metropolis right next to each other. It makes sense for us in our story that they're kind of sister cities across a big bay, like Oakland and San Francisco."
