Via ComicBookMovie.com, we have confirmation that Professor Zoom will be the main villain in Season 2 of The CW’s The Flash.  In Season 1 of The Flash, The Reverse-Flash was the main villain and Harrison Wells was revealed to be Eobard Thawne â€" a time-traveler from the future who used a device to make him look like Harrison Wells.
Thawne went under the guise of The Reverse-Flash and was originally known as The Man in Yellow.  Though the comics have The Reverse-Flash and Professor Zoom as the same person, this may change for the The Flash television series.  Why?  In the Season 1 finale, Eobard Thawne was erased from existence when Eddie Thawne, Eobard’s distant ancestor, killed himself to save Barry.
However, in The Flash Season 1 highlights reel, Tom Cavanaugh, who plays Harris on Wells / Eobard Thawne / The Reverse-Flash, is heard doing a voice-over. Â Therein lies the mystery of who will be Professor Zoom. Â Take a look yourself:

In other news, it was also revealed that Wally West will appear in Season 2 of The Flash. Â There is no other news on casting for this role yet.
The Flash Season 2 will premiere on The CW on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 8:00PM EST.
